Sleep Counseling differs greatly from traditional sleep training methods in that it is gentle, respectful, and effective. Together, we will come up with a highly personalized plan tailored to your family that meets your child’s needs while acknowledging your own needs. You’ll never be asked to let your child “Cry-It-Out” or use skills that they have yet to develop.
We will use methods of sleep learning rather than training, where we balance sleep education and optimal routine implementation for the parents with teaching the child how to soothe themself to sleep in a safe and secure manner.
The Sleep Counseling method is bed-sharing friendly, lactation friendly, and focused on secure attachment.
