Congratulations!!! You’re pregnant!!!

This is something you’ve been waiting a long time for and the joy you’re feeling is just the beginning… but now it’s starting to hit you… “Oh crap, I actually have to give birth in a few months”

I’ve looked forward to having babies my entire life, but one thing that always terrified me? Childbirth.

You hear so many horror stories: how much it hurts, warnings of tearing, emergency c-sections, visuals of screaming moms and fainting dads… why would anyone want to experience that??

What the world doesn’t tell us is that it doesn’t have to be that way. It doesn’t have to be scary and traumatic… it can actually be really beautiful and intimate. At the very least, we all deserve a non-traumatic introduction our babies.

Now I get it, you’re anxious, you’d be crazy not to be! As someone who has struggled with anxiety my whole life, I once accepted that I would just be a ball of anxiety during pregnancy and childbirth…

Then I learned something about tackling anxiety…

When you dive fully in to the thing you’re afraid of, it usually isn’t as scary as it seems.

This is a major part of the framework I teach in my Baby Got Birth Prep: Childbirth Education classes. We focus on tuning into your fears, understanding them, and helping them to fade into the background.

The more you know about something that scares you, the less power that scary thing has.

The more knowledge you have, the more confident you feel.

And the more prepared you are, the more capable you’ll believe yourself to be…

The Baby Got birth prep Course includes:

  • Physiology of childbirth

  • Decision making & autonomy

  • Options & interventions

  • How to build your dream support team

  • Mindset & pain coping strategies

  • Understanding & releasing your fears around birth

  • Building a birth plan (& how to cope if things don’t go according to plan)

  • Nutrition & Breastfeeding basics

  • & more!

It doesn’t matter to me what kind of birth you want.

I am not here to judge or tell you what is right or wrong, good or bad.

I’m here to provide you with unbiased support and the opportunity to make informed decisions.

An opportunity that should be a given, but has become a rare privilege in today’s society.

Unfortunately, this privilege is not granted to the majority of women giving birth.

True informed consent stems from knowing all of your options, both the risks and the benefits to each, and knowing that you have the ultimate say in what happens to your body and your baby’s body.

This course is for you if:

  • You are anxious about giving birth, postpartum, or the transition to motherhood

  • You know what kind of birth you want, but need the tools to help make that happen

  • You have no idea what kind of birth you want and want to know your options

  • You want to bring your baby into the world through a positive experience

  • You don’t know what to expect once you go into labor

  • You want to do what you can to prevent a Cesarean Section

  • You want to build a strong support system to be there for your birth/postpartum

  • You’re looking for evidence-based, unbiased information

  • You want to make informed decisions

  • You’re scared of the unknown

As a nanny, doula, and 20-something, I’m surrounded by women in their childbirth era.

I’ve talked to countless expectant mothers who are entering their labor with one idea in mind: “I just want my baby to be safe.”

I’m willing to bet you’ve had this same thought. And if you have, congratulations, you’re already an amazing mother.

Motherhood comes with sacrifices, fears, and the strong desire to protect our children.

We want our babies to be safe, happy, and healthy. We work hard to provide them with a safe and loving home where they are free to grow and flourish.

But guess what? Providing a healthy and secure parent-child bond starts before your baby is even born.

It starts with you.

What is the best thing you can do to prepare to provide a healthy home and attachment for your child? Educate yourself.

Educating yourself allows you to make informed decisions, increases confidence, and therefore increases our ability to trust our intuition.

According to well-respected psychoanalyst Erik Erikson’s Theory of Development, the first critical developmental phase that humans go through is that of developing a sense of trust vs. mistrust. This is established in the first 18 months of life.

The primary factor in an infant mastering this developmental stage is having a reliable, confident caregiver.

The caregiver’s sense of confidence in herself directly relates to the infant’s ability to form a sense of trust and hit developmental milestones.

The key to this is education, which provides parents with the confidence to trust their own intuition.

Let’s help your child’s entrance into this world be one filled with their mother’s confidence in her own abilities.

Birth and motherhood brings you into a whole new identity.

Your life is about to change (for the better, I promise!) and you are about to meet and shape a whole new human who relies on you, looks up to you, and loves you unconditionally.

This is amazing! But also overwhelming. If you’re anything like me, transitions are hard (even the good ones!).

You need a safe space to feel everything you’re going to feel, uncover all of your worries, communicate openly with your partner, learn about things you have yet to experience, and tune into your intuition.

My promise to you is to provide that safe space, education, and support.
